Huh? Confusing regs. atv trails work for me or jeep.
Some roads are ok and others are not depending on what area? I have been wheeling or riding most of my life but these rules are very confusing as I'm not familiar with that area in general. So roads are ok by clear lake rimrock but not bumping? Are utvs with street legalality recognized?

FEDERAL lands do not recognize ATV's as highway use vehicles regardless of how they're licensed, so that makes a lot of confusion on where you can ride them on national forests, typically it isn't enforced, but you are still required to ride on approved ATV trails within national forest systems. The Stevens County Sheriff I know says he won't and never would of messed with an ATV rider. He said he rides his on the county roads before the ruling was passed.
