Hopefully we can create a community on this one, but I applied REA to Caltech RD and REA caltech people wya? Caltech Admissions posted a comment on their IG (under the 2029 admissions post) about saying they are aware of the problem, are working on resolving it and will send out an email shortly.

Caltech Gpa, This is the official discussion thread for Caltech Class of 2030 applicants. Ask your questions and connect with fellow applicants. Caltech’s freshman class size each year is only about 200+, less than 1/4 of the size of MIT’s. Because of its size, it can’t afford to diversify the way MIT does. MIT’s admission is more holistic, similar to an Ivy, and has a wider range of student interest, capability, etc.

Caltech Gpa, Caltech is more hard-core science. There’re few “fuzzies”, if any (“fuzzy” is a term borrowed from ... Hello! I was wondering whether Caltech is a good environment for pre-meds? Obviously the teaching and the research opportunities are amazing, but does the grade deflation make it insanely difficult to maintain good enough grades? And would you have to major in bio in order to feasibly complete the pre-med requirements?
