Today Kubota recommends the use of SUDT2 in all of their tractors but still lists UDT as an acceptable alternative. The SUDT2 versus UDT (and by extension third party UTFs) debate is much like the synthetic versus conventional engine oil debate. Now I'm just asking but does anyone know anything about the new Bob Cat line of tractors? They look good and price isn't all that bad.
Kubota Mx5400 Problems, But they don't have a rally cool Group web page like "Orange Tractor Talk" buying a Kubota is worth the web group:) Tightening credit requirements allows Kubota to still get you interested in a new Kubota with the advertised deals but only finance the least risky customers. With rising rates, unfortunately slow pays and defaults are increasing in the finance world so it's not surprising. The local K dealer here wants way too much for Kubota Super UDT and I'm wondering if there is a less expensive alternative out there that will fill the... Is there any other hydraulic oil that I could use in my transmission other than Kubota UDT. My local tractor supply store carries Valvoline unitrac tractor hydraulic oil-3098 as well as Valvoline anti-wear hydraulic oil-3015.
